Banica Rooms & Apartments is situated in the very center of the old City of Split, within Diocletian’s palace. Our address is Ul. kralja Petra Krešimira IV 6, Split, Croatia.

Finding Us

The property sits near St. Domnius Cathedral and the famous Peristil square, which serves as the central point of the Palace where all main streets converge. When navigating to us, look for the bell tower of St. Domnius Cathedral as your primary landmark.

Getting Here

From Split Airport

• Distance: approximately 25 km
• By taxi: 25-30 minutes (we can arrange transfer for you, read below)
• By bus: Airport shuttle to the main bus station, then a short walk

From the Bus/Train Station

• Walking distance: approximately 10 minutes
• Follow signs to the old town (Diocletian’s Palace)
• Enter through any of the palace gates and navigate toward Peristil square

From the Ferry Port

• Walking distance: approximately 5 minutes
• The port is adjacent to the old town

Parking

As we’re located within the pedestrian-only zone of Diocletian’s Palace, parking is available in nearby streets (cheap or even free) or in a few city parking garages.

When arriving, we recommend pointing your GPS navigation to the street named “Obala Lazareta”. That whole small street is the closest parking to us. Then after you leave your bags and check in, our staff can give you tips about parking in cheaper (or even free) places, because this parking is expensive for overnight stays.

Shuttle Service

We don’t have our own service but have handpicked and very reliable taxi drivers that can pick you up at the airport gate, drive you to the city center and communicate with our reception to arrange a pickup. Just let us know and we will let you know the price and arrange it.
